A Brief History of PremiumPokeCards

PremiumPokeCards was established in 2011 with the goal of becoming the ultimate trading card store. Our vision combined online trading with traditional retail, a dream we realized just six years later when we opened our flagship store. In our early days, we worked hard to stock an unmatched selection of products for popular collectible card games, such as Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh!, along with a wide range of accessories. Our dedication to providing five-star customer service and fast delivery quickly helped us gain respect and trust within the trading card community.

By 2014, we had expanded our product offerings to cover the entire spectrum of the hobby games market. From specialist board games and miniatures to role-playing games and dice, we began stocking it all. To support this growth, we transitioned from our small warehouse to a new, dedicated facility and expanded our team, many of whom are still with us today.

In 2017, we were thrilled to open our high street retail store, a bright and inviting space that provides a fresh perspective on traditional game shops. We encourage everyone in the community to utilize and enjoy our space, whether for family board gaming, local chess clubs, or for beginner gamers through to those competing at championship levels.

Two years later, in 2019, we were excited to achieve official recognition from Wizards of the Coast as a Premium Store. We were one of only two stores to receive this honor and have been consistently praised by them as one of the finest stores in Europe.
